Life is fragile and may disappear in an instant.  Savoring the aliveness of each moment is central to ongoing happiness.  Coming from an uncertain background, I seem to be more aware  that anything could and may change.  It gives me a deep appreciation for health, peace and prosperity. Daily I notice the sparkle of sunshine resulting from a dewdrop on a leaf, the glisten of the eyes of an animal, and the ringing laughter of a child.   My artwork celebrates these moments and holds them still in order to rejoice.
